neutron-plugin-nicira software package provides transitional dummy package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install neutron-plugin-nicira
neutron-plugin-nicira is installed in your system.
Make ensure the neutron-plugin-nicira package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep neutron-plugin-nicira *
You will get with neutron-plugin-nicira package name, version, architecture and description in a table
